Welcome to the Highland Park Heritage Trust

Established in 1982, Highland Park Heritage Trust is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of Los Angeles' Arroyo Seco communities through education, advocacy & projects to benefit present & future generations.

Who We Are & What We Do

  • Who We Are

We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit community organization striving to preserve and promote the historic character of our Arroyo Seco communities by educating the public about the historic and cultural significance of our Northeast Los Angeles neighborhoods.

  • Local Community Award Winners

Our community has some of the richest cultural and historical significant landmarks in the City of Los Angeles. We continue to help preserve these landmarks and work alongside community members, from the Lummis home to the Chicano Arts Movement.

  • How You Can Help

There are so many different ways that you can help our organization, a registered tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit, that has operated out of Highland Park for over 40 years. Donate your time, your money, or both, to help us continue our mission.

We’re able to operate thanks to the support of our members.

As a member of Highland Park Heritage Trust, you’ll receive exclusive community updates, invitations to local fundraisers and town halls, and our quarterly print newsletter, The Cornerstone. Sign up now to join our email and mailing list.
